Avisa Yazdani

Avisa holds a BSc and MArch in Architecture from Shahid Beheshti University and an MA in History and Critical Thinking in Architecture from the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA).
As an architectural designer, Avisa has worked with well-known studios such as [SHIFT] Process Practice, ASA North, India Mahdavi, and SABK.
Avisa first joined TUIC in 2016 as a junior researcher through the T-lab program, where she submitted the project [RE]INFILL as the research phase of her master's thesis. From that point forward, she has remained committed to TUIC, contributing to several projects as part of the Research and Design Fellow team. In 2020, Avisa's role at TUIC became more established, and she also contributed to architectural pedagogy and the publication of TUIC.  Since then, she has been responsible for directing organizational development and serving as the lead coordinator for projects and design studios at TUIC.
