Sahar Ghorbani holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Islamic Azad University South Tehran Branch, her thesis was on solving social housing for homeless women in Tehran. She began her professional activity in 2017. Besides that ,she practices the design of ceramic applied functional objects. Her field of research is focused on the social issues that are connected with architecture.
Sahar joined TUIC in summer 2021 as a junior researcher and designer to develop an alternative habitation model for contemporary Iranian cities Within the “ Urban Micro-units “ studio. Her focus on this studio was on spatial models to designing an organic system by architecture that fills leftover space to make existing voids in urban spaces of Tehran livable.
