Mahan Mehrvarz
Mahan Mehrvarz is a strategist and researcher in the field of innovation. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, and a Master of Architecture, specialising in situated technologies from State University of New York (UB). He was also awarded the AIA School Gold Medal by the American Institute of Architects and the Chair's award by the department of architecture at University at Buffalo in 2016. In addition to working as a design developer on both architectural and urban design projects in Iran, he is a former research assistant at the Center for Architecture and Situated Technologies (CAST) and Technē Institute for Arts and Emerging Technologies. He is the co-founder and managing director at Future City Innovation Lab.
In 2017, Mahan was a senior researcher at TUIC, playing roles such as the project manager in Tehran's Data Narrate, and a workshop facilitator and discussion moderator in IF Water Symposium.
