i-Water

Lack of comprehensive and coherent water consumption protocols in domestic, industrial, and agricultural use, illegal drilling of  wells, uncontrolled exploitation of water from underground resources and aquifers, and, poor management of natural resources, has made the country to confront a water crisis which will be catastrophic in the near future if not managed today. A significant part of this crisis is also the consequence of the fact that the general public are not fully aware of this situation, and are not educated to act towards mitigation of the issue.
The i-Water project tried to raise the awareness of a tiny sector of the general public on how it is doable to reduce their water footprint. This raising of awareness was carried out through social media, and also through some gathering events in Zhi cafe and Sam cafe in Tehran. To leave a relatively durable impact, some informative boards were given to the cafes, so that the customers could continuously learn how the vegetables with minimum water footprint can get into their diet.
