Sheida Marahemi holds a Master of Architecture from the Art University of Isfahan. During her master’s thesis, she focused on transforming leftover spaces into pocket parks.
Her research interest covers topics such as the design and fabrication of architectural components with a focus on waste management. She has been a lecturer in waste management and sustainable architecture at the University of Science and Culture in Tehran.
As a participant researcher and designer in Urban Garbage Studio at TUIC, Sheida has been working on the Repacked project.
