Mehran Davari

Mehran Davari is an architect, researcher, and educator based in Tehran. With a background in interdisciplinary mathematical/architectural studies, he graduated with a Master's degree in Emergent Territories from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) in 2013. His research focuses on emerging technologies in design and fabrication, cross-platform knowledge in art and architecture, computational and generative design, and interdisciplinary architectural practices.
In 2015, Mehran founded Tehran Platform for experiential design and fabrication, a project space for multi-disciplinary design, emerging architecture, fabrication technologies, and development of material behavior systems.
Mehran collaborated with TUIC in 2016 as the director of IAAC Global Summer School in Tehran. The project Hypersculptures is the outcome of this collaboration.
