TUIC Think Tank

Providing innovative, feasible and replicable solutions for urban challenges, requires interdisciplinary approach in its initial phase which is called challenge definition, since the city - as we know it - is hosting multiple layers of tangible and intangible flows, each one closely associated with specific fields of science.
TUIC Think Tank (TTT) was an event-based short-term project towards a more effective challenge definition process for the projects to emerge at TUIC. Dividing the city into four major layers (natural resources, constructed landscape, people and behavioural paradigms, and networks), TTT hosted experts in various fields of theory and practice in four brainstorming panels.
Each session of TTT was mediated through a comprehensive graph consisting of 58 variables that play a key role in dynamics of a city and capable to get connected based on how and in what capacity ideas would find connection between them. The graph is planned to go online with open access to public for its further development.
