ISSUE 14 : 101 Points on Micro-Unit & Its Development Feasibility in Tehran
Lack of balance between demographics of Tehran and its constructed landscape, ups and downs of real estate market, undermined citizen-driven habitation models, and gentrification, alongside other major and minor factors, made it reach a point in which accomodating in Tehran is a challenging issue, specifically for the generation-z. Besides all, the development of alternative habitation models naming microunits seems to become an accelerating trend in the near future. Microunit is not merely a type of habitat. It represents a role model of living, as well.
This issue from TUIC101 series introduces the fundamentals of micro≠units with a focus on their feasibility to get applied within the context of Tehran.
