Sahar Asgari
Sahar Asgari has got her bachelor's in architecture and her master’s in computational design from Pars University. Design technology and interaction design have been her research interests during her academic activities. For her master’s thesis, she carried out research and the design of an adaptive building facade, based on soft robotics and origami.
As a researcher and designer, Sahar joined SmartSeat Studio at TUIC, where she, together with her teammates, shaped the project Poking Seat, which later got recognized as the winner of the first prize for the poster competition at the 3rd IEEE UK & Ireland, London, 2019.
Later on, Sahar pursued the development of the Poking Seat project in the Soft Robotics and Haptics Lab, UCL, London, in 2018.
